1. Booking & Payment
• A 60% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
• The remaining 40% balance must be paid in full at least 3 weeks before the event date.
• Orders placed within 3 weeks of the event must be paid in full upon confirmation.
• All prices are final and non-negotiable.
2. Package Inclusions
All packages include:
✓ Simple setup
✓ Delivery
✓ Equipment rental (cake stand & knife set)
✓ Customised cardstock topper
✓ Small takeaway boxes for guests
3. Display Duration
• For air-conditioned venues: cake can be displayed for up to 4 hours.
• For non-air-conditioned venues: maximum display time is 2 hours.
Please ensure suitable conditions are available to preserve cake quality during the event.
4. Equipment Rental & Return
• Equipment collection is not included. All rented items must be returned on the same day.
• A $150 refundable deposit is required for equipment rental.
• The deposit will be refunded once all items are returned in good condition.
• Late returns incur a $50 fee.
• Lost or damaged items will result in a full forfeit of the deposit.
5. Additional Charges (if applicable)
• Acrylic topper – from $50
• Intricate or detailed cake designs
• Additional desserts or decor elements
• Seasonal or preferred flower choices
• Dark or metallic colour palettes
6. Design & Changes
• Final cake design must be confirmed at least 3 weeks before the event.
• Minor changes may be accepted up to 14 days before the event, subject to feasibility.
• Major changes may incur additional charges and are subject to approval.
7. Allergies & Dietary Notes
• All cakes are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, eggs, and gluten.
• Allergen-free products are not guaranteed.
8. Delivery & Liability
• BakeryBitz is not liable for any damage once the cake is delivered and set up.
• Please ensure a stable, flat surface is prepared at the venue for proper display.
• Delays due to traffic or venue access issues are not the responsibility of BakeryBitz.
9. Media Usage
• Unless otherwise stated in writing, BakeryBitz reserves the right to photograph and share images of the cake for promotional purposes.
